Preservation Maryland's Grants and Loans
Preservation Maryland's funding
programs provide much needed cash to nonprofit organizations for historic
preservation projects around the state - committing $60,000 in grants
annually, and drawing from a $200,000 revolving loan pool. Preservation
Maryland (PM) provides grants up to $5,000 (the average grant is around
$2,200) and low-interest loans up to $50,000. It's Special Grant Fund,
which is jointly sponsored by PM and the Maryland
Historical Trust, is intended to meet significant historic preservation
needs unlikely to be met through existing grant programs.
